Availability of Property
The short-term accommodation contract negotiated by the Booking Agent and established between the Guest and the Owner is based on the understanding that the Property and its facilities, as stated in the booking confirmation, will be available as represented to the Guest. However, in the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Booking Agent, such as flood, fire, storm, tempest, etc., rendering the Property uninhabitable, or if the property is for sale or sold by the Owner, or if payment is received via another booking platform prior to your confirmation of booking, the Booking Agent may have to cancel the Guest’s booking.
In such cases, the Booking Agent will make every effort to relocate the Guest to a holiday home of a similar standard in the same area. If this is not possible, all monies paid by the Guest in respect of the Property will be refunded. Upon refund of the paid amount, the Guest shall have no further claims against the Owner of the Property or the Booking Agent.
Deposit
The accommodation booking will not be confirmed or secured until the Guest’s payment is received and cleared. The Booking agent and the owner reserve the right to cancel the booking without notice whereby no payment is made.
